Thanks for the example. It is particularly helpful as it illustrates how to build on prior knowledge and use this knowledge practically. I don't think I would have seen the link between the 2 positions if you hadn't pointed it out. I think the rest of the game would be helpful from the point of view of white's defence rather than Pinter's method of winning (which sounds too complex).

Interesting that you say this, I saw the connection immediately when wandering past the game, but I also used Glenn's example for some students so perhaps it was even further ingrained in my memory!
