When will the solution to the July "Unlock your genius" be available? It is supposed to be posted "before the end of this month"...although I'm not sure which month. I originally read it mean "before the end of July". But it was pretty consistently posted halfway through the following month. But now it appears to be aproximately 1 month late. Thanks for any info.

I check back from time to time to see if "Unlock your genius" has been updated. Then I check to see if anyone has replied to this thread. Now being two months late for the update, I am assuming that the author of "Unlock your genius" has moved on from the improveyourchess team. Maybe they are looking for a replacement author. One way or the other, it would be nice to know...

I don't suppose Admin have been looking at the Forum (maybe it is too depressing?!) Anyway, I do know that the Unlock your Genius quiz has been dropped because there was no interest (that is, nobody sent in a solution), and I will look into the July answer (maybe John is still waiting for a reply

The future of this site is probably uncertain. It did start with a lot of promise, but there have been a lot of content delivery problems in the first year, almost no communication with the membership, and at least one feature we were promised that was later deleted and conveniently forgotten.
I am not sure if you noticed, but in addition to the $10/month regular price increase there is also a move toward 'optional' add-ons. The first one (other than coaching) is openings study for an additional $7/month. So, if you wanted everything other than a one on one coach it would be $17/month.
I would be shocked if existing members were not extended some kind of discount price for renewal, but even that will likely be a substantial increase over what we paid for the first year. It feels more all the time like the first year was a beta test period.

Can't they at least publish the result of the last quiz and winner? The way they keep up the promises qualifies them to run for FIDE in Kirsan's ticket!

It feels like your query is going to fall on deaf ears. The only person associated with this site that ever comes here appears to be Tony Kosten, and his visits are still very rare.
You can try to email support, if you haven't already. I used it a couple of times back in the beginning and got fairly prompt responses. It sure would be nice to get discussion here about changes or enhancements.
