This is the response I received today for the cancellation email I sent on February 28th:
Hi Don
Many apologies for the delays etc and please be assured there is no question
of your subscription being renewed without your full permission..
We are about to send out a notice regarding the situation, basically we have
had a number of problems, not least the serious illness of the publisher.
We are trying to resolve the other problems - basically due to the site
suffering from a lack of revenue- and we are trying to resolve the
situation.
We hope to let people know the outcome in the very near future and we thank
you and everyone else for their patience.
Yours in Chess

Sheesh, the least someone could do is post an announcement like this of the Home page or something. The total non-communication for the last month is certainly not a good thing.

Just for giggles I tried to log onto chesspublishing.com using the credentials I use here. It didn't work, though I didn't really expect it to.
It would be nice to know when and how the 'new' owners are going to take things over.
