guaranteed Improvement? (Openings)

? Are you going to continue to "guarantee you will improve " ? a bit risky

? Has anyone improved their rating ? I keep thinking that my understanding
? of chess is improving all the time, but somehow my results don't show
? this. Maybe eveyone else is improving as well.

I think the only guarantee one could make would be that your chess ability will NOT diminish.
