Something to think about (General)

I got my coaching back. Thanks. I think I have something to say that needs to think about. I read e-mail questioning about if the website is helping them to improve their games. This is only my opinion, I think improvement first is the love for the game. Second, is the knowledge that you accumulate thru studying of tactics, strategy, opening, middlegame, ending, etc. Third, is knowing yourself and your approach to the game. The coaching is the good way of knowing yourself, it will also give you a good advise of books to read, where to start, playing style you need to strengten, etc. I do not know if this depends on the coach but I have a good coach. I personally felt that I learn more when I started the coaching. I forgot Alekhine said know your opponent. I do not bother on that because I am not a pro I just play to enjoy the game and I play the board.
