Look of the site (General)

? My girlfriend doesn't like the content of the opening page, and finds a lot
? of the other pages too 'wide'. Does anyone else have any real
? dislikes?
My girlfriend (a web designer) thought it looked mostly ok. Didn't like the 3d rotating new, thought there was sometimes a lot of white space around the headings. There is also a bit of inconsistency in alignment (left aligned v centered) and what happens when you resize the browser.

I think these are all minor though. You should concentrate on utility rather than looks. In general, I can find the information that I want to, so its ok.
