We have been found by the spammers. It looks like the days of being able to post 'unregistered' are dwindling. I really hate these opportunistic bastards.

After the raft of porn messages that were posted last night (about 20 different ones!)
rather than having to delete them all the time I have made it impossible for guests to post, so anyone who isn't already registered will have to register before posting. Hopefully this isn't too much of an inconvenience.

It is about the only thing you can do to combat it. Once an 'open' message board gets into the spammer software it spreads and gets progressively uglier each week.
Hopefully this will be enough, but sometimes you have to resort to authorizing accounts, usually by registering and then having a link sent via email that has to be clicked on to activate the account.
