? I looked at the game Kirov-Rodriguez but I don't see why white resigned.

I think at my level I would have played on a bit longer hoping my opponent would make the same hash of it as I had, but at their level, the exchange down and a pretty hopeless position, I suppose Kirov couldn't reasonably expect Rodriguez to cock it up. After the exchange of Knights, white's game is not good.
