How good is this site ? (General)

This was the question that Tony asked us recently.
The only objective answer I can give is EXCELLENT.
Everything is covered at high level except openings,but the CPub site is there for that at a very reasonable price.
Glenn is fantastic with his strategy-ending cover.The tactical archive is bigger and bigger.HGoodIYC is very useful.The 2 e-book explain clearly what to do and how to use this site.
The thing is to become very good at chess is like going back to school,read,homework and practice is not going to happen by some sort of miracle and certainly not overnight.
I am sure that Tony would have considered himself very lucky if he could have counted on this sort of information when he started.For about 20-30 ?

So lets protect this site as much as possible,speak to your friends at the chess club,on the internet more of us the better the site will become.
I was a member of the now gone Kasparovchess.com,in my opinion excellent site
not enough members unfortunately.
