I just wanted to say a quick hello as I have just joined this site. It seems like a friendly community, and one thing I definiely like is that the people who run the site also participate on the forum! Wow I can actually talk to a real life GM!

I stopped playing chess around 4 years ago when I had a grade of a approx 140 BCF (1820). I stated playing again in Decemember because I can no-longer work. I mostly play (non-engine assisted) correspondance at SchemingMind and live on ICC server.

I have a semi-serious ambition to attain master level, but am not sure if its possible now aged 38. And just to improve at all would be nice...
