chould You add others variations (Openings)
Hi at all members of this forum,
I want to make my best compliments at the author of the repertoire vs KID, vs Grunfeld , vs Trompowsky, I like that variations and I will play in my next tournaments.
When I've study the new repertoire vs Trompowsky I've read this:
"1. d4 Nf6 2. Bg5 d5
2... g6! 3. Bxf6 exf6 4. e3 d5 is another way to get the same position and my recommended move-order. The reason is that we are encouraging White to play 2...g6 3 Nc3, going into a Veresov, which will be the subject of another article in this series.";
so I'm intrested to know how I can to do if I play 2...g6! and white answer with 3.Nc3.
I ask if is possible to add others usefull variations for White vs Benoni, vs Queens Indian (or vs Nimzo Indian), and vs Benko :)
Thanks a lot and Best Regards
Matteo

If there is enough interest from subscribers I will ask Andy to do some more.

I am definitely going to commission some more repertoire material, very soon, but I haven't decided which ones yet, I'd like a few more opinions first, please. Where are the biggest gaps on the Opening section? What is the opening that bothers you the most?

Well I start with my opinion.
In 1.d4 section, I think it will be good to see which lines You advise to play vs QGD, QGA, and Salv. Just the lines, after the player will be investigate himself. Not mainline ( I agree whit You where you wrote in "Build your perfect opening repertoire" to don't play main lines that are too teorised), and not less lines popular, where the opponents have played a lot of time, maybe more than main lines.
For example I've try to build a variation vs QGD and Slav.
My Idea is: 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.cxd5 cxd5 5.Qc2 Nc6 6.Nc3 e6 7.a3 ... 8. Bf4 or Bg5 depends what Black have played. And the same setup I will play vs 2...e6.
What You think about this line? It's playable or it's orribile?

Yes, lines against the QGD, QGA and Slav sounds like a good idea.

It seems odd to play an Exchange Variation and then put your queen on the open c-file where it will become exposed. If you want to play a line with Qc2 then I think it would be better to keep the pawn on c4.

Any chance of covering hedgehog positions?
