Keres Attack 6...e5 (Openings)
I'm interested to know the theoretical status of the 6...e5 line against the Keres Attack, 1.e4 c5 2.Nf6 e6 3.d4 cd4 4. Nd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 d6 6.g4 e5. Is it considered sound, unsound, etc. I can find no literature about it specifically (not even a chapter in a book, or an article) and I'd like to know any sources. If anyone has an informed opinion, these would be welcome too. The highest level game I can find is Ljubojevic-Polgar, Buenos Aires 1994, a draw, and if statistics say anything the line scores 48%, according to my database, whose games only go up to 2001. But statistics without words are not so helpful to me, so I am asking. Thanks to all who help me solve a little mystery.
