Greetings from a new joiner! (General)

Hi all! I just wanted to drop a line to say “hello” to everyone, and to quickly introduce myself.

I am Italian, 37, with a job that requires a lot of travel, a lovely wife and a wonderful daughter. I started to play chess during my University years, then I dropped it altogether because of work plus personal reasons, and I only recently restarted with it.

As for every thing I do in life, to have fun I need to see improvements. After some browsing on the web, I have come across this site, which sounds like a great one-stop shop for all I need: tactics, strategy, opening, middlegame and endings tips and techniques. The new format based on CB is simply fantastic, and the thing that turned me into getting a membership is definitely the “How good is your move?” section; the two sections on tactics and strategy sounds very promising as well.

This is it for the moment: I hope I will be able to find the time to use all these resources, and in this case, I am positive that I will see clear improvements in my game!
