Marking all threads as read. (General)

? ? ? The tooltip for the Refresh icon says "Refresh / Mark all threads as
? ? ? read".
? ?
? ? yep, but at least for me, it does not seem to Mark the threads as read

? ? it marks them on the spot, but when I log off and log on again, they
? are
? ? again all marked as unread!
? I've just had a go at marking them all as read, and then logged off and
? they are still marked as read. Could it be something to do with cookies?!
Hmm, they have gone back to unread again today!
