How does one go about getting a refund (General)

I don't think a refund is in your future (or anyone here). If the site completely dies, which with the lack of updates over halfway into the current month strongly suggests is happening, there isn't likely anyone to get your money from.

Plus, their refund offer wasn't 'if you aren't happy' but rather 'if after using the site for a year and not improving your game' so, I guess technically, if the site never even lasts for a year you can't actually use it for a year and not improve.

Plus, web businesses are just like regular businesses (do I keep saying that?) When a retail storefront type business goes under you can't get refunds from them any more than you will get a refund from this place if it is no longer in business.

I suspect the only reason the existing site and this message board are still working is because they were prepaid. If they don't get more customers, or accomplish whatever the reason is that they have given up, then whenever that runs out this will just suddenly stop working one day.
